Welcome to Musica Viva NY’s 2018-19 season!

Through a combination of stirring performances and highly original programs, our concerts are designed to offer profound musical experiences. This season offers a fascinating mixture of beloved masterworks and contemporary compositions, choral and instrumental music, special collaborations, and an exciting world premiere. Highlights include a concert commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I (with a co-commission for choir and orchestra by acclaimed American composer Joseph Turrin); a concert spotlighting Aeolus Quartet, our quartet-in-residence; a joyous celebration of the 100th anniversary of Leonard Bernstein’s birth; a performance of Poulenc’s Organ Concerto; and a performance of Duruflé’s beloved Requiem. To enhance your experience of the music, join us at our pre-concert talks one hour before each concert. Every evening we have planned promises to be an extraordinary experience; we encourage you to get your subscription tickets and mark your calendars today!
